San Francisco Power Outage Shuts Down Major Websites
July 25th, 2007
Some of the Internet's biggest websites went offline following power interruptions in San Francisco that disrupted operations at co-location facility 365 Main. Netflix, Technorati, Craigslist, Typepad, Vox, LiveJournal , Yelp, Redenvelope  and lot others websites were all down yesterday. All of these websites are customers of 365 Main. I was also unable to access my website through my broadband connection, but surprisingly the website was accessible through other broadband connections. When I contacted my ISP and explained the situation and provided the traceroute detail, Techsupport guy asked me to  do the following things. Change your MTU Settings Reboot Router Change DNS Server Settings When I told him that the domain name is resolving correctly to IP Address and no need of ...

The former Australian paceman, Dennis Lillee, is next on the radar of Indian Cricket League (ICL). Talks are on to get him as bowling consultant at the ICL. Lillee has been associated with the Chennai-based MRF Pace Academy for many years and has done wonders with international fast bowlers. Former Aussie greats Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath are also on a way to join ICL. The ICL spokesperson has told Mid day that Kiwi Nathan Astle and Englishman Marcus Trescothick are also likely to be approached. July 23rd, 2007
All the media attention of Windows Vista release is nearly over, now it's time to turn our attention on next Windows release, which is currently renamed to "Windows 7". The next version of windows was originally codenamed as Blackcomb and then renamed to Windows Vienna, before being renamed to "Windows 7". The geeks are still in dilemma whether it is "Windows Seven" or Windows "7". At Microsoft’s Global Exchange (MGX) annual sales conference in Orlando this week, Microsoft shared a bit information on Windows "7". Among the information shared was that Microsoft is anticipating that it will take at least three years from now on to release the next version of Windows, which means it will be shipped in 2010. The specific release date will be determined later on ...

Bipasha likes to play and John wants to sell
July 23rd, 2007
You can now play with Bipasha Basu on your mobile phone. Jump Games latest mobile game is called Jet Ski Champ and features Bipasha Basu in a Lara Croft avatar. The game was to be released by Bips today, but for some reason she has cancelled the event. I know why she cancelled the event. Because than she had to answer all the stupid questions from the reporters about her and John’s break-up. Intelligent girl I would say. Yeah it’s true and heart breaking that John and Bipasha are not together any more. On and off from last few months, they finally had to go different ways. I am very sad, because Pradeep had predicted this long back. But it was me who wanted ...

Himesh Reshammiya on Koffee with Karan
July 23rd, 2007
This weekend Mr. Topi is going to have “Koffee” with Karan. Yeah right, you guessed it, it’s Himesh Reshammiya. I hate him, I hate his voice, his face, his topi and his pakau film “Aap Ka Surroor”. I don’t have any high hopes from him on entertainment level. He will definitely bore us. Lets see if Karan can reveal the truth of 24/7 topi. I wish Karan makes him remove his cap or for a change let’s just say that he comes on the show without a cap. Karan, are you listening or reading this……don’t allow cap on the show? We hear Karan showed clippings of Udit Narayan, Anu Malik, Aadesh Shrivastav, DJ Suketu and others, who praised HR to ...

Gentleman Anil and Naughty Akshaye on Koffee with Karan
July 22nd, 2007
Ahh!!! So Akshaye Khanna won the koffee hamper and going to sell it on ebay…….now that was something you don’t hear from a bollywood actor (which means Akshaye is a net savvy). I have to take my words back that Koffee with Karan show is turning into a film promotional center. Well in some means I am right, but lets not get into it and wait till the release of “Gandhi my Father”, let the audience decide if the film promotion on KWK was successful or not.Let’s just enjoy the episode, because it was really one memorable episode with one gentleman and one naughty little tinker. Let’s talk about Akshaye baby………now this reminds me of a song Let's talk about ...

Earlier this week, rumours were rife that Shilpa is getting married to South London NRI businessman Raj Kundra Update: 25/10/2009 Shilpa Shetty got engaged to Raj Kundra. Wedding will be on 22nd November in Mumbai, and a reception in London. Her bad-luck, now what about the image she has portrayed of very homely and cultural girl. I again wish all of this is just a publicity stunt from Kundra’s or everything is just a rumour and Raj-Shilpa are just good friends. This is what Mrs Kavita Kundra has to say: Distraught Kavita revealed ...
