Last week in Dubai... Shocking isn’t it? But it’s true, reports are that Benazir Bhutto`s 55-year-old widower and the American woman Dr Tanveer Zamani courted for eight months before exchanging vows. The couple decided to make their relationship public at the end of Zardari`s presidential term in 2013. Zardari`s 22-year-old son, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, who is co-chairman of the ruling Pakistan People Party (PPP), would take over as its supreme leader after that. A website claims that Zamani is a practising physician, as "a Mediterranean descent American resident" who lives in Gramercy Park, Manhattan, New York. On the occasion of Sixtieth year of Independent India, Outlook, an Indian Business Magazine has released a list of
Sixty Great Indians in 60 years of our Republic. The list is picked by three eminent jury B.G. Verghese, Mushirul Hasan and Mukul Kesavan. I am bit disappointed by the fact that Mushirul Hasan thinks Sardar Patel doesn't deserve a place in "Sixty Great Indians".
