On the occasion of Sixtieth year of Independent India, Outlook, an Indian Business Magazine has released a list of Sixty Great Indians in 60 years of our Republic. The list is picked by three eminent jury B.G. Verghese, Mushirul Hasan and Mukul Kesavan. I am bit disappointed by the fact that Mushirul Hasan thinks Sardar Patel doesn’t deserve a place in “Sixty Great Indians”. Sardar Patel is one of the name which I will always keep on top, considering his contribution towards the integration of “Republic of India”.
Here is my list of 10 Great Indians of Independent India.

The missing names are Dhirubhai Ambani, Manmohan Singh & Vikram Sarabhai.
Kapil, Balbir and Raj Kapoor doesn’t deserve to be in list.
