Google Gmail is soon launching a new feature for sharing content and status updates with friends, just like Twitter and Facebook. With the growing popularity of social networking sites and Orkut, Google’s social networking site, losing its shine to Facebook and twitter in India and Brazil, Google was in desperate need to come up with some idea to keep its hold on social networking market. Despite the Google brand attached to it, Orkut never picked the market outside Brazil, India and some other Asian countries. A Bangalore-based IT professional, Laxman Kailas K has landed in the police net after he allegedly uploaded a blasphemous matter about Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji on the social networking site Orkut. Kailas has been working in a giant information technology (IT) firm in Bangalore since 2001 and hails from Tamil Nadu. The cyber cell of city police (Pune) was investigating the crime for the last ten months on a complaint registered by Dhiraj Ghate (32) of Ambilodha colony with the Vishrambaug police, Pune on November 11, 2006. Asia-Pacific, and now it says that Google are also trailing in Latin America. Internet Research Firm comScore has today released the first report on Latin American Internet usage, based on data collected through the comScore World Metrix audience ratings service. Google tops Yahoo! but trails to Microsoft. The study says, Microsoft sites received over 47 million unique visitors, while Google traffic was close to 46.5 million. Yahoo, who was leading in Asia Pacific region is well behind with just 35 million unique visitors.

Google Analytics seems to be down. I am trying to access it from last 2 hours, but getting the same message. "The requested URL /analytics/home/report was not found on this server" Few days back I faced the rare error of Google Search. I have been using Google Search from last 7 years but never seen any errors in Google, that was the first incident, so I took screen shot of the error. Religious” country in the whole universe. Sydney, Australia comes on the seventh position as a religious country and all the other numbers are taken by USA, Washington, DC on the first place. I was stunned to see this huge difference between two almost similar countries. Not to mention, Briton always maintains that they are the superior ones and have a “class”. Well! According to the list of most-loved brands in Britian, published today, Microsoft tops among the public choice and Google tops among the experts choice. More than 3200 people were surveyed by the Superbrands organization. But the public list differs too much from the opinions of the marketing experts.
