Cricket Sledging - Australians feeling the heat now!
Posted By :Pradeep
Indians especially seniors were never involved in sledging. Although Sourav Ganguly showed some aggression but with in a smile on his face and Waugh's subsequent irritation and complaints were the reaction of a man. Apart from talent and Dad's army(average of 30 years), sledging had always been the mantra of Aussie's success. In spite of getting some witty replies in the past they never changed themselves and always been in front to wind up the opposition by all possible means including swearing and personal remarks. But in this series(Aussie's in India, 2007) they are getting frustrated and annoyed on being at the receiving end of sledging. Sreesanth has managed to take the sledging spotlight away from its most skilled practitioners. Frustrated and annoyed, Aussies are ...

Posted By :Pradeep
The Sun has revealed that former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho lived with a stunning blonde mistress behind his wife’s back for two years, and his wife Matilde, whom he married in 1989, had no idea he was leading a double life. Mourinho met Elsa Sousa when he was coaching small-town team Leiria in his native Portugal in 2001. He took her with him to FC Porto in January 2002, his first big job — where the pair lived for eight months in a flat arranged by the club. Mourinho even introduced her as his wife to players and agents. Players at top Portuguese side FC Porto thought she was coach Jose’s wife — until the real Mrs Mourinho turned up. The ...

Shameless Limelight Hungry Politicians Hijacked Victory March and Celebrations
Posted By :Pradeep
Moment of Glory for men in blue hijacked by BCCI officials and Politicians. BCCI Officials and Politicians made it like a Political Rally, what was meant to be the felicitation ceremony for the Twenty20 World Cup champions. It was expected that Dhoni and his boys would take centrestage, but BCCI officials and Politicians placed themselves on the front row, completely overshadowing the proud winners of the trophy. If that was enough, RR Patil and Sharad Pawar started glorifying Maharastra in their speech, as if it was Maharastra team who won the world cup. RR Patil went a step ahead and said, "Sharad Pawar should be credited with the victory". Someone should ask him, "Did he select the team or he bowled out Pakistanis in the Final?" ...

The Magic of "Chak De India"
Posted By :Pradeep
Lately, India had lot of success in sports. Is it really the magic of "Chak De India"?  First it was Football, then Hockey and now Cricket. The magic started with the Indian football team creating history after lifting their first ever Nehru Cup title with a 1-0 win over a 10-man Syria in a tough final played in Delhi. Next in Hockey, when India retained Asia Cup beating South Korea 7-2 in a hard fought final in Chennai, and Now Cricket, India beat Pakistan in the World Twenty20 final by five runs to clinch their first major trophy since 1983.  The title song of the Bollywood hit movie "Chak De India" is now an integral part of Indian sport.

India : Twenty20 World Cup Champion
Posted By :Pradeep
India won the electrifying final by 5 runs. You can't ask for more from a GRAND Final. The match was full of ups and downs. It brought a hugely entertaining tournament to a fitting climax, which was always likely - after all, the teams tied their group game. Earlier today, India won the toss and decided to bat, and managed to post only 157 with the help of magnificent inning of Gautam Gambhir who scored 75 from 54 balls and Rohit Sharma who scored 30 runs from 16 balls. Pakistan started their chase positively with 21 runs from first over of Sreensanth, but RP Singh had something else in his mind and he keep on taking wickets before Irfan Pathan broke the ...

The Biggest match of Cricket History on the Biggest stage. Anyone can feel the magnitude and intensity of "India Vs Pakistan" in World Cup Final. This is a final not many would have imagined. The tournament has got the best possible climax. The sub-continental rivalry has the right combination of history, piquancy and edge to add up to a thriller. With the ignominious "first-round exits" from the World Cup of 50-over version in West Indies just six months ago, who would have thought that India and Pakistan can set up a dream final at the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa. India defeated Australia by 15 runs in a thrilling floodlit semi-final, just couple of hours after Pakistan had overcome New Zealand by six wickets, to send ...

The press advertisement is created by integrated agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, will run in London-based newspapers today and tomorrow. The advertisement is based upon recent cryptic comments by Mourinho, in which he appeared to compare his players with eggs. Mourinho said, You know, omelettes, eggs?
