Sherlyn Chopra, aka Meghna, aka Mona Chopra, desperate to get rid of the "sleazy actress" tag, is disturbed with the images of porn stars/escort girls on the website of her name. ICL’s Official Website Launched

The rebel Indian Cricket League has done something which the BCCI, the world's richest cricket Board, is still struggling to do -- launch its official website. ICL, the much talked about venture of Subash Chandra's Essel Group which has already sounded the alarm bells in the BCCI, today announced the launch of their website www.indiancricketleague.in to facilitate the entry of aspiring players. Windows Live Folders Renamed to Skydrive

The code name shuffle of Microsoft. Microsoft's long-rumored online storage offering which has been in beta for a little while, has once again changed it name. Originally code-named Live Drive, it became Live Folders and today got its final name, Windows Live SkyDrive. Microsoft's Live strategy has always been confusing. French Teen Charged for Posting Unauthorized Harry Potter Translation

French police briefly detained a 16-year-old boy who posted an unauthorised translation of the latest Harry Potter book online "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" on the internet. The French teen translator, a high school student from Aix-en-Provence in southern France, accomplised a mystifying feat in translating all 759 pages of the book within days of its 21st July 2007 release. He was picked up following a complaint from the Paris police, but later released on the same day after questioning. The boy could face charges for violating intellectual property rights. Police has shut down the site where the boy posted the translation. The anonymous writer of the well known blog "The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs" has been unmasked. Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes, admitted to writing as Fake Steve after a New York Times reported the resemblances found between the blog and Lyons' published work. Despite the unmasking, the diary will continue but on the Forbes website. Latin Americans prefers Microsoft to Google

Google's magic may be working in US,Canada and Europe but doesn't work quite well in Rest of the World. Earlier this month, internet research firm comScore released a new study that put Google a few steps behind the competition in Asia-Pacific, and now it says that Google are also trailing in Latin America. Internet Research Firm comScore has today released the first report on Latin American Internet usage, based on data collected through the comScore World Metrix audience ratings service. Google tops Yahoo! but trails to Microsoft. The study says, Microsoft sites received over 47 million unique visitors, while Google traffic was close to 46.5 million. Yahoo, who was leading in Asia Pacific region is well behind with just 35 million unique visitors.

Is Google Analytics Down ?

Google Analytics seems to be down. I am trying to access it from last 2 hours, but getting the same message. "The requested URL /analytics/home/report was not found on this server" Few days back I faced the rare error of Google Search. I have been using Google Search from last 7 years but never seen any errors in Google, that was the first incident, so I took screen shot of the error. San Francisco Power Outage Shuts Down Major Websites

Some of the Internet's biggest websites went offline following power interruptions in San Francisco that disrupted operations at co-location facility 365 Main. Netflix, Technorati, Craigslist, Typepad, Vox, LiveJournal , Yelp, Redenvelope and lot others websites were all down yesterday. All of these websites are customers of 365 Main. I was also unable to access my sheetudeep.com website through my broadband connection, but surprisingly the website was accessible through other broadband connections.
