The Bachchan parivar is very upset and angry,  are not attending the 55th FilmFare Awards in protest of the “false” report published in Mumbai Mirror, a Mumbai based tabloid about bahu Aishwarya Rai’s health. The tabloid and Filmfare both belong to the same publishing group, who are organising the award ceremony. Aishwarya, who was to perform at the awards, has pulled out from the event and returned 85 lacks to the organisers. Viacom18 Media, a joint venture between Viacom and the Network 18 Group, has launched its flagship Hindi-language entertainment channel Colors in the UK on Sky. Available at position 829 on Sky's electronic programming guide, the channel is initially being offered free-to-air but will soon join the View Asia subscription package. Colors will broadcast a 24-hour schedule featuring entertainment programming, reality TV, drama, game shows, Bollywood films and Indian versions of popular formats such as Fear Factor and Got Talent.
