The first YouTube Music Awards aired live across the internet, the hosts Jason Schwartzman, 33, and Reggie Watts, 41, presented the awards from Pier 36 in New York on 3rd Sunday night. The 90-minute live event included performances from Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Avicii and M.I.A. The hosts presented awards in seven categories, giving winners a small, shiny, YouTube logo. The "live music video" performances included Arcade Fire and Lady Gaga, who debuted her new song "Dope." Anurag Kashyap’s directorial venture for the small screen is about social issues. Which is being shot currently. Amitabh Bachchan, who is a construction king in the show, has revealed his look for the series that he is also co-producing. Amitabh shared the picture on Facebook and write, “At the shoot today there were wild and desperate attempts to make me look 20 years younger for a sequence that desired it so... this is for my Tv Serial ." (sic) The show is co-produced by Amitabh Bachchan's Saraswati Creations and Endemol, for Sony Entertainment channel.

Madhuri Dixit herself revealed the first look of the film Dedh Ishqiya on Twitter with a quote, “Here is the 1st look of Begum Para from #dedhishqiya. Hope you all like it”. Madhuri will be seen as Begum Para in the film, set in the City of Nawabs Lucknow.
