Classic Cadbury Ads
April 15th, 2007
Got these through email and I loved it, remind me of my teen. Suddenly all the Cadbury ads just flashed in front of my eyes and I started humming “kya swad hai zindagi kaaaaaaa” really Cadbury ads in 80s and 90s were just unforgettable. Songs, picturisation and heart touching little lovely stories would make the ad a part of your daily life. The cricket one where the girl jumps into the ground and does a very “ajeeb sa” dance is my fav. I have one more favourite which is a Karva chauth one, but I don’t have a clear picture of it. And the list is endless. i think to make such emotional and close to heart ads, one has to very sensible, i ...

Three English team in Semifinal of European Champions League
April 14th, 2007
After the quarter-finals of European Champions League, there are three English teams ( Liverpool , Chelsea and Manchester United) left in the competition and now only AC Milan can stop them from taking the Cup. Although I support Arsenal and very sad seeing them out of the competition but I would be very happy if Liverpool manage to beat Chelsea in semifinal and then take the cup by beating Manchester United in  the final. The future of English football looks very bright. Third time in succession at least one english team will play in the final, this year it could be two. Last year Arsenal lost to Barcelona and in 2004-2005 Liverpool beat AC Milan in the memorable ...

There is boisterous dancing and loud joyous singing as the traditional folk dance of Punjab, called the Gidda and Bhangra, are performed. It is also the anniversary of the creation of the Khalsa Pantha. People collect in the evening around abonfire to celebrate the harvest. History has recorded the execution of Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth guru of ...
