[Scrubs] my new timepass

July 10th, 2007

[Scrubs] is a US comedy sitcom I am addicted to now-a-days. It’s all about group of mad and funny doctors and nurses working together in a hospital “Sacred Heart”. My favourites are couple Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) & Carla (Judy Reyes) and their friend living with them John Dorian know as “J.D.” (Zach Braff) who is very funny and naughty doctor.
This show is really hilarious and a good timepass.
Other characters also plays very important role in the show such as The fatherly chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins), the abrasive- worldly Dr. Perry Cox (John McGinley), and the caring but slightly jaded nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes). The hospital janitor (Neil Flynn) also never seems to miss an opportunity to harass his target. Everybody in the show is really in the skin of their characters. They are so true and real.
“Scrubs” is filmed in a real-life hospital. It’s the North Hollywood Medical Center, which has gone under severe reconstruction to fit all the equipment and represent Sacred Heart Hospital.

“Scrubs” is into its sixth season, having received two consecutive Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2005 and 2006.

In its debut season, “Scrubs” was nominated for two Emmy Awards and a People’s Choice Award. “Scrubs” has received a total of 10 Emmy nominations, and in 2005, the series won the Emmy for Multi-Camera Picture Editing. In 2004, “Scrubs” was honored with a prestigious Humanitas Prize. Beginning that same year, the series received three consecutive Producers Guild Award nominations from 2004-2006.

“Scrubs” is produced by Touchstone Television. Bill Lawrence (“Spin City”) is the executive producer and creator.
