Between 18 months and 2 years, children are consumed with the desire to explore. Climbing into, around and on top of anything within reach becomes more and more exciting. But your toddler can't be relied upon to worry about heights. That's your job. Toddlers have been found on top of kitchen cupboards, on older kids' bikes and even on the roofs of cars! Now your child will run everywhere rather than walk, and he will start to dance, turn around and try out all of his new motor skills - balancing, twirling, jogging. Keep one hand free so you can grab hold of him whenever necessary. He'll no doubt keep you on your toes.

Use this beauty regime daily:
Clean your face with a mint cleanser. Then, mix one tsp water with one drop Patchouli essential oil, and use it as a skin toner.
Follow this up with a fairness gel from a reputed company.
Apply this face mask twice a week:
Mix 1/4 tsp Fuller’s Earth, some tomato pulp, a little cucumber juice and yoghurt.
Apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse.
Remedy for pigmentation

Break Vitamin E capsules, and mix them with a few drops of castor oil.
Apply the mixture on your pigmented areas at night, and rinse in the morning.
This is an effective way to treat pigmentation.
Coarse and weak hair

The occurrence of split ends depends on the way you manage your hair.
Use a wide-toothed comb instead of a hair brush.
Thick rubber bands will pull your hair less that thin rubber ones, which lead to breaking and tangling of hair.
Trim your hair regularly.
Keep your split ends at bay with a creamy conditioner.
Do not use metal or wire rollers.
Remedies for oily skin and blackheads, also for dry & grey hair

Milk of magnesia (available at your local chemist) will keep your acne and blackheads at bay.
Use milk of magnesia for oil-free skin,
Apply it on your face and neck. Leave it on for five minutes, and rinse.
Use this home remedy for your dry scalp: Mix castor oil with one tsp yoghurt. Massage the mixture into your scalp.
Leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse.
Eat curry leaves or curry leaf chutney to prevent greying of hair.
Home remedy for premature greying of hair

Kadipatta (Curry Leaf) chutney fights greying.
To prepare Kadipatta Chutney:
Mix Kadipatta leaves with a little grated coconut, mint, few pods of garlic, onions and green chillies.
Grind the ingredients in a blender, and add salt to taste.
Eat this chutney with your food once a day.
