He was awarded with a lifetime achievement award for his services to UNICEF. He also was awarded a knighthood in 2003 for his work with UNICEF. <\/p>\n<p>The Gala was a star-studded extravaganza featuring four former Bond girls;  <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Gloria Hendry starred as Rosie Carver in Live and Let Die, 1973  <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Lois Chiles appeared as Dr Holly Goodhead in Moonraker in 1979  <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Maude Adams, was Octopussy in the film of the same name in 1983 and also made an uncredited appearance in \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A View To A Kill\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Roger Moore&#8217;s last Bond film in 1985  <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Serena Scott Thomas starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in The World Is Not Enough in 1999  <\/p>\n<p>Moore&#8217;s planned autobiography, whose working title is &#8220;My Word is my Bond&#8221;, will tell his real life story. Moore said in a statement that he would like to write &#8220;a warm, amusing, and maybe even slightly emotional volume&#8221;.
