{"id":586,"date":"2007-09-03T22:33:18","date_gmt":"2007-09-03T22:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/technology\/windows-live-installer-coming-this-week\/"},"modified":"2007-09-03T22:40:00","modified_gmt":"2007-09-03T22:40:00","slug":"windows-live-installer-coming-this-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/technology\/windows-live-installer-coming-this-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Windows Live Installer Coming this Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/windowslive.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/presspass\/features\/2007\/jun07\/06-26windowslive.mspx\">press release of 26th June<\/a>, Microsoft promised to release a single installer which will give customers the option of an all-in-one download for the full Windows Live suite of services, and added <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/technology\/new-arrivals-in-windows-live-suite\/\">Windows Live Photo Gallery Beta and Windows Live Folders Beta<\/a>&nbsp;( later on renamed to skydrive)&nbsp;to the managed beta testing of Windows Live Suite.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports of NYTimes, Microsoft will release the Windows Live Software suite sometime this week<\/p>\n<p class=\"block\"><strong>NYTimes&nbsp;Reports,<\/strong><br \/>This week, it plans to turn that strategy upside down, making available free software that connects its Windows operating system to software services delivered on the Internet, a practice increasingly referred to as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cloud\u00e2\u20ac\u009d computing. The initiative is part of an effort to connect Windows more seamlessly to a growing array of Internet services.<br \/>The software release will offer PC users the option of downloading a set of the services with a single Unified Installer program, or as separate components.
