{"id":56,"date":"2006-10-25T09:38:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-25T09:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=56"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:24:08","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:24:08","slug":"boondi-ki-sabzi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/boondi-ki-sabzi\/","title":{"rendered":"Boondi ki sabzi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>200 gm boondi, unsalted<br \/>\n2 tbsp oil<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd tsp cumin seeds<br \/>\n2 medium onions, sliced<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd inch piece ginger, chopped<br \/>\n5-6 cloves garlic, chopped<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd tsp turmeric powder<br \/>\n2 tsp coriander powder<br \/>\n1 tsp cumin powder<br \/>\n1\u00c2\u00bd tsp red chilli powder<br \/>\n3 medium tomatoes, grated<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd tsp garam masala powder<br \/>\n2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves<br \/>\n2 stalks spring onion greens, sliced<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour add onions and saut\u00c3\u00a9. Soak boondi in sufficient water Add ginger, garlic and saut\u00c3\u00a9 for a minute. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and stir. Add tomatoes and continue to saut\u00c3\u00a9 for a few minutes.<br \/>\nDrain the water from boondi. Cook the masala on high heat. Add salt, garam masala powder, coriander leaves and boondi.
