Originally code-named Live Drive, it became <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/technology\/new-arrivals-in-windows-live-suite\/\">Live Folders<\/a> and today got its final name, <a href=\"http:\/\/skydrive.live.com\/\">Windows Live SkyDrive<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>Microsoft&#8217;s Live strategy has always been confusing.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Live&nbsp;Vs not-Live <\/strong>in Microsoft&#8217;s array of online services is still not clear to me. Recently they changed the name of their next Windows operating system as well, originally code-named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/technology\/blackcomb-windows-vienna-windows-7-or-windows-2010\/\">Windows Blackcomb, which became Vienna and now Windows 7<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>There is also a significant update to the service, extending the basic functionality that was criticised somewhat at the start of the initial beta.
