{"id":54,"date":"2006-10-25T09:32:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-25T09:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=54"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:24:31","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:24:31","slug":"spring-onions-potatoe-stuffed-prantas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/spring-onions-potatoe-stuffed-prantas\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Onions &#038; Potatoe stuffed Prantas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hare pyaaz aur aloo ka parantha<\/p>\n<p>5-6 spring onions with greens, finely chopped<br \/>\n1\u00c2\u00bd cups whole-wheat flour (atta)<br \/>\n2 green chillies, chopped<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd tsp carom seeds (ajwain), crushed<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\n2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed<br \/>\n1 tsp red chilli powder<br \/>\n2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bc cup yogurt<br \/>\n2 tbsp oil<br \/>\nGhee as required<\/p>\n<p>Take whole-wheat flour in a bowl. Add spring onions with greens, green chillies, carom seeds, salt, potatoes, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, yogurt and sufficient water and knead into a dough. Apply oil, cover and set aside for 15 minutes.<br \/>\nDivide the dough into eight equal portions. Roll into balls. Roll the balls in dry flour and rest for five minutes. Roll out into medium thick paranthas.<br \/>\nHeat a tawa and place a parantha on it. Cook on medium heat for two minutes.<br \/>\nTurn and apply ghee on the cooked side. Turn again and apply some more ghee on the other side too. Cook till both sides turn a golden brown.
