{"id":53,"date":"2006-10-12T16:50:00","date_gmt":"2006-10-12T16:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=53"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:24:43","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:24:43","slug":"masaledar-tofu-bhurji","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/masaledar-tofu-bhurji\/","title":{"rendered":"Masaledar Tofu Bhurji"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Ingredients:<\/span><br \/>\n300 gms Tofu (beancurd), 2 medium sized onions, I inch knob ginger, 2 medium sized tomatoes, 2 green chillies, 2 capsicums, \u00c2\u00bc cup fresh coriander leaves, 1\u00c2\u00bd tsps oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and salt to taste.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">Method:<\/span><br \/>\n* Drain tofu, crumble into small pieces.<br \/>\n* Peel and finely chop onion and<br \/>\nginger. Wash and finely chop<br \/>\ntomatoes and coriander leaves. Wash, remove stem, de-seed, finely chop green chillies and capsicum.<br \/>\n* Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, cook till they start to change colour. Add chopped onion, ginger, green chillies. Stir-fry till translucent.<br \/>\n* Dissolve turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chilli powder in \u00c2\u00bd cup water, add to pan. Cook on medium heat for 30 seconds, stirring continuously.<br \/>\n* Add chopped tomatoes and cook on high heat for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
