{"id":180,"date":"2007-04-01T13:34:59","date_gmt":"2007-04-01T13:34:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=180"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:15:44","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:15:44","slug":"chicken-missi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/chicken-missi\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Missi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 cup chicken mince<br \/>\n1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)<br \/>\n1 cup gram flour (besan)<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\n1 tsp turmeric powder<br \/>\n1 tsp chaat masala<br \/>\n4 green chillies, chopped<br \/>\n1 tbsp pomegranate seeds (anardana)<br \/>\n1 medium onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n2 tbsps fresh coriander leaves, chopped<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1 tbsp oil<\/p>\n<p>Mix wheat flour, gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, chaat masala, green chillies, pomegranate seeds, onion, coriander leaves, chicken mince and egg. Add a little oil and enough water to knead into a soft dough.<br \/>\nDivide dough into equal portions. Grease your palms and roll the portions into balls.<br \/>\nHeat a tawa. Roll the balls in flour and roll out into thick paranthas. Place the parantha on the hot tawa and cook on medium heat on both sides.<br \/>\nDribble some oil and when one side turns golden, flip and dribble some more oil and cook the other side till golden.  Serve hot.<br \/>\nAlternatively, you can apply a little oil to the dough balls and also grease the worktop.
