{"id":176,"date":"2007-03-31T15:13:39","date_gmt":"2007-03-31T15:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=176"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:16:34","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:16:34","slug":"chunky-pasta-vegetable-and-herb-stew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/chunky-pasta-vegetable-and-herb-stew\/","title":{"rendered":"Chunky Pasta, Vegetable and Herb Stew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 cup pasta (fusilli), blanched<br \/>\n2 tablespoons chilli flavoured olive oil<br \/>\n6 cloves garlic, flaked<br \/>\n6 baby onions<br \/>\n1\/2 cup corn kernels, boiled<br \/>\n1\/2 cup tomato juice<br \/>\n1 medium carrot, cut into 1\/2 inch dices and boiled<br \/>\n6-8 French beans, cut into 1\/2 inch pieces and blanched<br \/>\n1 cup tomato concasse<br \/>\n1\/2 small cauliflower, separated into florets and boiled<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\nCut vegetables<br \/>\nAdd tomato concasse<br \/>\nAdd pasta<br \/>\n10-12 black peppercorns, freshly crushed<br \/>\n1 teaspoon oregano<br \/>\n5 sweet basil leaves, torn<br \/>\n1\/2 cup fresh cream<br \/>\n5 tablespoons cheese, grated<\/p>\n<p>Heat chilli flavoured olive oil in a pan.  Add garlic flakes, baby onions and saut\u00c3\u00a9.  Add corn kernels, tomato juice and bring it a boil.<br \/>\nAdd boiled carrot dices, blanched French beans and mix.  Add tomato concasse and stir.<br \/>\nAdd boiled cauliflower florets and blanched pasta.  Stir and add salt. Mix.<br \/>\nAdd crushed black peppercorns, fresh or dried oregano, sweet basil (torn with hands) and mix again.<br \/>\nAdd fresh cream and mix.  Add grated cheese and mix.
