{"id":172,"date":"2007-03-31T14:56:06","date_gmt":"2007-03-31T14:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blogs\/?p=172"},"modified":"2010-03-23T22:17:26","modified_gmt":"2010-03-23T22:17:26","slug":"sprouted-moong-cutlets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sheetudeep.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/recipes\/sprouted-moong-cutlets\/","title":{"rendered":"Sprouted Moong Cutlets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 cup moong sprouts, blanched<br \/>\n2 large potatoes, boiled and grated<br \/>\n1 tbsp oil to shallow fry<br \/>\n1 small onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 inch piece ginger, finely chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 cup gram flour (besan)<br \/>\n2 ripe bananas<br \/>\n3-4 green chillies, finely chopped<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\n1\/2 medium bunch fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped<br \/>\n1 teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur)<br \/>\n1 cup bread crumbs<\/p>\n<p>Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add onion and saut\u00c3\u00a9 on medium heat for a minute. Add ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add besan and saut\u00c3\u00a9 till fragrant. Set aside.<br \/>\nTake peeled ripe bananas in a bowl. Mash and add grated boiled potatoes. Mix in chopped green chillies, salt and blanched sprouts.<br \/>\nMix cooked besan mixture in the potato mixture. Add chopped coriander leaves and amchur powder. Mix in three tablespoons of breadcrumbs.<br \/>\nHeat two to three tablespoons of oil on a tawa. Take a portion of the potato mixture and roll in remaining breadcrumbs.<br \/>\nPat into desired shape and shallow fry on moderate heat till golden on both sides.
