Check Out how wonderful God can be in Our Match With Liverpool.....Even if a soothsayer had told Gerrad that We will Draw, He wont believe it but Alas!!! A wonderful Cross from Kalou..Made the difference..I could see flames flaring up from the Eyes of our Opponets..Liverpool....Surely We did draged them to the pool...lol... Up Chelsea............................................. This meant that Israel marginally missed on qualification to the finals, despite being undefeated in the group - with four wins and six draws. He announced on 26 October 2005 that he would step down from the national team as his contract expires in June 2006. Subsequent to this he took up his new position as Technical Director at Portsmouth. A personal friend of Roman Abramovich, on 8 July 2007 he was appointed Director of Football at Chelsea.
