This is in reference to the 4th India International Women Film Festival 08 slated to be held in New Delhi from7th to 14th Dec' 08 at SIRI FORT AUDITORIUM COMPLEX & NCUI Auditorium, supported by the Govt. of India, Ministry of I &B & Ministry of Culture & Ministry of External Affairs . Around 140 films had been screened & 42 countries will be participating in this festival 08. We are the pioneer of such a new initiative where women are being showcased not as an object to be looked at on the screen rather women behind the camera. It relates to women issues in Film, which is very relevant in a developing country like India where we do talk about women empowerment but little do we practice.
