Call me ignorant but I am really shocked to learn that my favourite songs were sung by Manohar Shetty, 34 and I don’t know much about him (sorry Mr. Shetty), may be because we only focus on some big name singers.
I loved the album composed by Aadesh Shrivastav “Humko Ishq Ne Mara”. Manohar Shetty sang the title song and two tracks “Jadoo Hai Naya” and “Aap Se Pyaar Hai”. I still remember how I used to listen the song “Jadoo Hai Naya” again and again.
He also gave his voice to Jimmy Shergill and Jugal Hansraj in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Mohabbatein for songs “Chalte Chalte” and “Ankhen khule ho yaa band”.
It’s sad to know that his younger brother Mohan, 31 has shot him over a property dispute. Manohar, semi-classical singer had won the talent hunt show Meri Awaaz Suno in 1996-97.
I pray for his speedy recovery.

You are not the only one, i also loved those songs but never bothered to know who the singer is. and now i am shocked to hear about him beign shot. May he get well soon.
News is that his mother is the reason behind him being shot. He really is a good singer, atleast he don’t sing from nose.U know what i mean.
