"Blatant misuse of power" - Pahlaj Nihalani Eklavya will be India's official entry for the prestigious Oscar awards. The decision to nominate Eklavya as the Indian entry for the awards was announced by Film Federation of India President Vinod Pande. French police briefly detained a 16-year-old boy who posted an unauthorised translation of the latest Harry Potter book online "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" on the internet. The French teen translator, a high school student from Aix-en-Provence in southern France, accomplised a mystifying feat in translating all 759 pages of the book within days of its 21st July 2007 release. He was picked up following a complaint from the Paris police,  but later released on the same day after questioning. The boy could face charges for violating intellectual property rights. Police has shut down the site where the boy posted the translation. British-Indian director of movies like “Bend It like Beckham” and “Bride and Prejudice Gurinder Chadha gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, on June 7. The 47-year old, who had been looking forward to the birth for eight months, was taken in for an emergency caesarean operation. Gurinder and husband Paul Berges, are deliriously happy. The expected date of delivery was July 20, but Gurinder had told BT in February, "Twins always arrive early, so I expect I will be a mother by mid-June."
