Channel is trying hard and best to rope in some top cricketers for the show.
Channel confirmed the news, Ashvini Yardi, the programming head of the channel said, “When you combine Priyanka’s glamour, mass-appeal and athleticism with the energy and adrenaline of the cricketers, you get the perfect equation for a show like Fear Factor.

Priyanka is equally delighted to take up the challenge.

She said, “The show fits in perfectly with my personality. I have been a huge fan of Fear Factor and thoroughly enjoy watching it. I am looking forward to my innings on television. It’s exciting to be a part of a concept which is unique and feature some of the biggest names in cricket.”

Television’s most popular dancing unmarried couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh have decided to break off or take a break from their long term relationship. I think this was bound to happen as Sanjeeda is bit too much to handle for a shy boy like Aamir.

Cracks started showing up when Aamir and Sanjeeda both were approached to compete with each other for the second season of the dance show Zara Nach Ke Dikha and Aamir was reluctant to compete with his lady love. The show has a group of boys competing with a group of girls. Unlike last season, this year will have eliminations. When Aamir learnt about the eliminations and realised that he and Sanjeeda would be pitted against each other, he told her that only one of them should participate. However, Sanjeeda flatly refused and they ended up having a tiff.

News is that both of them have signed the contract for the show individually, problems only increased as a sense of competition erupted between Aamir and Sanjeeda.

This show is famous for breaking relationships. This isn’t the first couple to have serious issues cropping up in their relationship due to a sense of competition. In the earlier season, Gaurav Chopra had broken off with his long-time girlfriend Narayani Shastri and had started seeing Mouni Roy. Narayani and Mouni were co-participants in the show’s first season while Gaurav, of course, was one of the competitors from the boys’ side.

Sushmita gets tattoo on her wrist, but it’s not personal or to impress anybody. It’s for a cause, more like it’s a official one.

“I Am” supports in several fields like child welfare, cancer and AIDS research and environmental issues. The foundation is presently working to put together a beauty pageant called I Am, She. Its non-profitable charity organisation runs by Sushmita Sen. Even Sush’s father too has a similar tattoo on his wrist. It’s become a kind of rage in her organisation to get it.

Sush confirms, "There are about 42 of us and counting me, my family, friends, colleagues and some people that I don’t personally know have tattooed ‘I Am’ on their wrists." When asked if it’s a token of their dedication to their job she adds, "No, it’s not a token of any sorts. It’s simply a celebration of our I Am quotients. It says each to their own."

It all started when one staff member got the words inked on her arm. Others who saw it liked the idea and did the same. Soon the news spread around and most employees working with I Am foundation got themselves inked.

Raja Chaudhary is a naked man now, he has lost everything. First his wife and daughter, than he has to give his flat to his wife Shweta Tiwari in alimony to finalise their divorce. When contacted Shraddha Sharma said, This is shocking for me. It’s all over between us. He is constantly calling me but I don’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. Many of my friends warned me about getting into a relationship with him, but he always showed how caring and nice he was. He called me and told me that he was under the influence of alcohol but that’s no explanation.
Speaking about dealing with the trauma Shraddha said, I guess everything happens at the right time. I am busy doing films down South. One of my films Jeeva has just released and I am shooting for one more film Jaye Ho. I am also doing a couple of reality shows, so life is busy – it will divert my attention from all this.

Filmfare Awards night on March 7^th was electrifyingly unforgettable event. Everything was just impeccably on time and in place, be it fantastic performances, cracking PJs, breaking eggs, insulting each-other or up-roaring laughter’s from the audiences. Night was  full of entertainment with two superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan playing hosts and all the others in attendance.

Life time achievement award – It was very emotional to see my heartthrob Shashi Kapoor after a very long time and that to on a wheel chair. Still remember his sexy million dollar smile and dance moves and his dimples. Shashi Kapoor was awarded with Life time achievement award. Music Composer Khayyam also received the Life time achievement award.

Let’s start with flattering the hosts who did wonderful job on stage. Their Pjs, auctions of things from the hits of the year and insulting their own fraternity than not minding getting insult in return was commendable. Everything is scripted, but still to bring it live on stage is great. They both looked great and smart. Best was when both had to go through filmigration’s X-ray scanner and the secret was out SRK was wearing sexy lingerie under his suit and Saif was in really a Chote Nawab with his “thing” – don’t take it seriously! Neil Nitin Mukesh had the privilege to break eggs on SRK and Saif’s back…literally!

All our gorgeous actresses looked very sexy and sober in gowns and sarees. Actually, long gowns dominated the starry night. Some chose to look different, Vidya Balan made a unique fashion statement in a yellow-orange embroidered sari and rudraksh jewellery. She looked stunning but could have done better, next time hopefully we get to see her in something that make her look younger.

Amrita Rao looked beautiful in mango colour gown and carried herself very elegantly. Bengali babe Bipasha looked hot in her black sexy gown. Sherlyn Chopra also wore black gown and was looking stunning, but her nose was looking funny – may be a surgery gone kaput! 

Performances of the night – The best performance was the last performance by my favourite Salman Khan, he dance on his old super hit songs. His entry was a surprise one, he was not present in the audience so I thought he is not attending and then there he was dancing jhakas. He has that charisma around him which illuminates you whenever you look at him. Second best performance was Kareena’s, she looked and danced fabulously. Third was Katrina Kaif, she was also very good and looked stunning in black outfit. Deepika Padukone also performed on her movie songs.

Shahid kapur’s tribute to Michael Jackson was the best, he was just mind-blowing and bang on.

Over all, the night was spectacular and unforgettable.

Kathryn Bigelow has become the first woman to win the best directing Oscar, as her Iraq war drama The Hurt Locker took six prizes, including best film.

God bless Dimpy! Rahul Mahajan (34) married one of the most eligible contender Dimpy Ganguly on the show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega. Eligible, because Dimpy suited Rahul Mahajan very well. Both are best in their chichora cheap stunts. Dimpy was looking gorgeous in red Bengali saree. Rahul was as usual looking an idiot. He is a walking-talking idiot! Rahul’s mother and Dimpy’s mother both looked least interested in the proceedings.

Rahul’s only Sister Poonam Mahajan and other family members were not present at the wedding. May be they all did not wanted to be part of this Nautanki.

The Bengali-style wedding was held in a luxurious Mumbai suburban Hotel Leela Kempinski on Saturday night and the couple wore outfits designed by famous fashion designers Neeta Lulla.

Rahul Mahajan chose 21-year-old Dimpy, a model and dancer, over Nikunj Malik, 25, and Harpreet Chhabra, 20. Dimpy also participated in Gladrags Mega Model Hunt 2009. Though she did not win the crown, she was chosen as “Miss Potential” by the judges.

Rahul decided to go ahead with his wedding despite the recent death of his uncle Praveen Mahajan, who was convicted for killing his politician father Pramod Mahajan in 2006.

Bengali girls are doing wonders on reality shows, first it was Rumpa Roy who got married on Perfect Bride and now it’s Dimpy  Ganguly.

Thanks that finally this cheap show ended, where all these girls where just indulge in all sorts of cheap activities to win the heart of wife beater, divorced and druggist Rahul Mahajan. Don’t know how and who thinks he was a eligible bachelor.

News is that he is yet not over his ex wife, he had got in touch with his former wife Shweta Singh and even offered to remarry her for TRPs. Rahul Mahajan also offered a huge amount to her to make an appearance on his show. This was obviously turned down by Shweta, as she is from a reputed family.

During this show, each and every episode looked so faked and scripted. Rahul looked over done with his make-up, especially with his lipsticks. It was so yuck watching all these well educated and well established girls dancing like item girls in front of dripping Rahul.

Rahul has planned to go to the Maldives and Ireland for his honeymoon, if a court which is holding his passport allows him to do so. He is facing charges of using banned drugs.

2 days to go! The 12th London Film Festival Tongues on Fire opens this Friday. The festival runs from 5th March to 14th March, 2010. It is said to attract the likes of Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Soha Ali Khan, and Sharmila Tagore.

London’s West End will get chance to see some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters such as, “Guru”, “Dostana”, and “Chak De India” at 10 day long festival. Shyam Benegal’s “Well Done Abba”, besides other South Asian and British Indian films. The Om Puri starrer “Life Goes On”, will have its premiere on closing night with actors Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan attending it.

Festival patron, the writer, actress and comedian Meera Syal said, "I have been very proud to be associated with Tongues on Fire over the years, both as an excited viewer, and also as a participant, and am honoured to be the Patron of the Festival."

Abhishek Bachchan will open the show on Friday with a BAFTA interview. Jaya Bachchan will be given a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to the Indian Film Industry. Abhishek Bachchan will also be interacting with junior film-makers and cinema lovers giving them a chance to learn what makes him the actor he is today.

Festival director, Pushpinder Chowdhary was in a very cheerful mood saying, “This year’s Tongues on Fire couldn’t come at a better time. With MY NAME IS KHAN smashing records at cinemas around the country to become the most successful Bollywood film in British box office history, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the achievements of Asian cinema.”

Kangna Ranaut and Chirag Paswan, son of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan are doing a film together. Anuj Saxena’s Maverick Productions will launch Chirag. The film will be directed by Tanvir Khan, It’s a love story and the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

Recently, rumours suggested that Rohan Sippy dropped Kangna from his film Dum Maro Dum as she asked for a fee of Rs 1 crore. Well, she has proved that she was not wrong, Anuj Saxena has signed her for Rs 5 crore. She is a crore babe now!
